Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo


Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo is the Founder and President of Next Sports Company LLC (NSC). Kingsley leads NSC’s overall strategy, overseeing key departments, including marketing, new business, finance, master planning, design, construction and operations. A true visionary, he has extensive experience building strategic relationships with large, complex brands and believes in maximizing the benefits of partner relationships to create new opportunities for NSC in the sports and entertainment marketplace.

Dr. Okonkwo is the founder and president of Corpus Christi FC – A member of the United Soccer League Two (USL2), Corpus Christi’s first professionally run soccer club. He holds a Certification Diploma in Global Sports Management from New York University. He is a member of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Okonkwo is the founder of Pedicare Children’s Clinics – a primary care medical facility for children with 3 locations in Texas. He is also the founder of Pedicare Children’s Urgent Care Clinic, an urgent care medical facility for children in the Yorktown area of Corpus Christi, which is the city’s first pediatric urgent care clinic in 15 years.

Dr. Okonkwo is also the founder of Triple Healthcare Services LLC, a property development company which recently developed an 18,000 SQF multi-use commercial facility in the Yorktown area of Corpus Christi, Texas. 

He received his medical degree from University College Hospital. He was a visiting physician at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Disease at UT Southwestern University’s Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He received further training as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Pediatric Infectious Disease at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, and he completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas.

Dr. Okonkwo moved to South Texas in 2016 and worked as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Texas A&M University College of Medicine and was an Attending in Pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Corpus Christi, Texas. His expertise involves general pediatrics, pediatric cardiovascular diseases, care of children with special health care needs, chronic illness and asthma.

He is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, International Society for Infectious Diseases, International Society for Urban Health and a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Jessica Fraiture


Jessica is an experienced Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. Jessica lead Corpus Christi FC’s marketing operations for 2 seasons. As the strategic leader of Next Sports Company LLC internal marketing initiatives, she oversees the implementation and execution of traditional and digital marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness. Skilled in Customer Service, Sales, Leadership, and Marketing. Jessica graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. 

Andrea Treviño


Andrea works with the marketing team to execute traditional and digital marketing strategies, increase brand awareness and generate demand. Andrea graduated with Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports management from Texas A&M University.

Roman Oseghale, EMBA MSc.


Roman has over two decades of experience in business development specializing data research analysis, strategic business planning, sales and marketing, cost analysis, budget development and control. He is passionate about problem solving and creative thinking. Roman leads NSC’s business development strategy. A trained Architect, Roman graduated from The Telfer School of Management University of Ottawa, Canada with a Master’s Degree in Business administration

Jeremy Tosaya


Jeremy leads youth sports programing at NCS. He has over 17+ years of coaching experience and is a leader in the realm of soccer and youth sports, he believes in a philosophy of leadership, mentoring, and education for young athletes to succeed not just on the field, but in life. Jeremy is the Technical Director of Corpus Christi FC Academy. He has been a director of two different state soccer associations, he is the former Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operations at Nebraska Christian College. He has the highest levels of certifications from the United States Soccer Federation. Jeremy graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. 


Nick Cignac


Gignac Architects has been serving Texas with Architectural, Interior and Landscape Design Services since 1988 when it was established by Raymond Gignac, AIA. Gignac Architects is a full-service firm providing planning expertise in educational, institutional, municipal and commercial work with an emphasis on quality design. They have extensive experience developing, designing and acting as project managers for sports and athletics facilities.

Jeff Manthey


Jeff Manthey has been involved in youth soccer his entire life – as a player, coach and administrator. Tiger Sports Management is a youth sports event company that joins with local partners in staging soccer events throughout the Southwest United States. The Tiger team has decades of experience in coaching and senior management of elite soccer clubs and tournaments as well as the planning and production of high-quality non-sports special events. Tiger currently has tournaments scheduled at top venues in Texas, Arizona, and California.
